Frankfort KY's own 610 Barbecue & Burgoo Team (LLC) was born at the International Barbecue Festival in Owensboro (KY) in the spring of 2002. Our idea was to take our collective, hobby-level barbecuing skills and experiences out on the road, just for fun. We could meet interesting folks, see some sights, hob-knob with other fine BBQ-ers and peddle our wares to BBQ aficionados throughout the region. We agreed to strictly limit the number of events that we would participate in each season. Our BBQ team is a part-time endeavor - except for a couple of ‘retired’ team members, most of our crewmates have real jobs.The catering component of our little company has exploded on us (thank you!), but still we cater only on a limited basis. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Our calendar fills quickly.
